GATH Focuses on Aquaculture Technology – establishes cooperative alliance
Our region has a significant and rapidly growing environment in aquaculture technology with solid expertise. Key players have advocated that we should facilitate more focus on aquaculture technology and that we need a good arena and platform for this work. We appreciate that Baader want to contribute to GATH and the cooperation together with our members.
Baader focus on innovating food value chains to supply reliable quality solutions that result in the best possible raw material utilization for our customers. We offer expertise in every step of fish processing – on land and onboard – from harvesting and heading to filleting, trimming, grading and packing as well as chilling, freezing and thawing. Through automation and digitalization, our ambition is to give our customer higher value, unparalleled product quality and a sustainable supply and operations.
Through cooperation with knowledgeable actors and customers Baader has a history to develop and deliver new technology that bring the industry forward. We consider GATH as an important arena to set the agenda for discussions and work in the cluster, thus influence the evolution of this young aquaculture industry. This will give us insight from the value chain and influence the development of Baader. Being part of a global organization, we in Ålesund will use GATH to promote Norway as the leading market in the industry, internally and externally. And we hope to cooperate with other GATH members to develop new technology in the years to come. Baader see GATH as a suitable organization to promote more value creation in Norway of our seafood resources.
