Norwegian seafood globally and the importance of sustainability

Tom-Jørgen Gangsø has been director of market insight and market access since May 2019. Gangsø holds an Executive MBA in Seafood Management from the Norwegian School of Economics, a Master of Business Creation and Entrepreneurship from UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, as well as a Bachelor of International Business Administration from Middlesex University in London.  He has been with the Seafood Council since 2012 and has worked with both analysis, marketing and led several major development projects. He has also been responsible for working out the Seafood Council’s strategies in close cooperation with the Norwegian seafood industry.

 Tom-Jørgen will cover two important topics in his speak. He will speak about norwegian exports of salmon and Norwegian salmon’s position globally. In addition to Important market and consumer trends and the importance of sustainability.
