Cato Lyngøy is a veterinarian and has held a number of leading positions and positions of trust in Norwegian aquaculture. In 2013 he started his own company Hauge Aqua, which is named after Leg preacher and serial entrepreneur Hans Nielsen Hauge. In 2015 Hauge Aqua launched “Egget®” – a closed floating flow plant. The first egg was launched in May this year and now floats in the Romsdalsfjord. The health and welfare of salmon is central to the initiative with Egget®, which is designed to make the salmon thrive.
