What technology gaps needs to be addressed to improve on fish health and welfare?

In the past 10 to 15 years salmon farming has undertaken a tremendous change in technology applications and production forms. This, combined with intensified farming and increased external challenges, it is overdue to look closer at areas we can improve on. During this winter GATH and PatoGen AS have worked together to analyze root factors and identify areas for increased focus and improvements within technology and digitalization to improve fish health and welfare. The highlights from this work will be presented at the conference by Elisabeth Faureng.

Elisabeth Faureng is a veterinarian (DVM) with solid operational experience and has high ambitions for fish health. Elisabeth have for several years worked with fish health and production in Cermaq Norway and is currently part of the PatoGen fish health in the role as senior fish health advisor.
